Telegraph Magazine – Solveig Stone

I met Solveig Stone several years ago when recceing the house and the eponymous store of her daughter, Clementine. Solveig is a master marbler, creating the most beautiful papers for books and for packaging design – including one for Durex! – from oil paints and water. Hers is an ancient craft which I was delighted to help publicise – there is something mesmerising about watching her work, and her workshop is wonderfully paint-splattered!
